Igor and Elina are both Ukrainians. They came to the US in 1994, and their two daughters, Sophia and Solomia, were born in Fletcher, NC. While living in the U.S., Igor began to sense a profound call into the ministry. In order to receive proper training, Igor completed his studies with Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and Luther Rice Seminary in the Masters of Arts Program. Elina also received biblical education by completing the Advanced Program in Christian Counseling with Grace Ministries International.
In 1999 both Igor and Elina began to sense it was time for them to return to Ukraine. It was not an easy decision to leave much of what they had come to love in the United States, but they knew in the depths of their hearts that it was God’s perfect will.
They returned to Lviv, Ukraine and began a Christian counseling ministry doing various seminars, counseling training and workshops. In March of 2006, Igor became the Senior Pastor of Christ’s Fellowship in Lviv. This church was planted by American missionaries in the 90’s and now is fully transferred to Ukrainians.
Christ Fellowship belongs to Every Nation family of churches. Our vision is to connect people to God and help them grow so that they can change the world.
