Hey friends!
I hope you’re all doing well in the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It’s been a while and wanted to give you a quick update.
One of our partners recently contributed towards the expansion of the feeding program of our partner school in Ethiopia. The school is using this funding to build a larger kitchen with bathrooms and to add a second bread machine and a cake machine. This will enable the school to feed more of our students. It will also enable them to generate income by selling bread and cakes in the community which will be reinvested in the school. We are thankful and excited about this opportunity! See photos below.
I mentioned in my last update that we have friends from our church in Ethiopia who are now living spread out across the states. We launched an online fellowship about seven months ago to help us stay better connected. After a few months we decided to open it up online for all who would be interested in joining in. It’s been a joy to see family and friends from different backgrounds and nationalities growing together in Christ. It’s also been a joy for me personally to be serving in this capacity again.
Our brother Dr. Efi from back in Ethiopia has been on a two week medical missions trip in Sudan. It’s a joy to see our first international missions trip out of our church in Addis and we are looking forward to hearing all the great things that God has done! Please be praying for our partner school as they complete the new kitchen, for our online fellowship, for our church in Addis and for Dr. Efi and his team in Sudan.
