Hey friends!
I hope you’re all doing well and having a great week!
Thanks for praying for Dr. Ephrem and the medical missions team that recently served in war torn Sudan. They had a challenging yet fruitful trip. A bomb went off at one of the checkpoints but thankfully everyone was ok. They gave check up’s and needed medical care to many. They were able to share the Gospel with many of those that they served. Each night there was a presentation of the Jesus film. Many received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Praise God!
It was the first international missions trip by a member of our church in Addis and we are excited about all that God did and all that lies ahead!
Please continue to pray for Sudan and for the effective discipleship of those that received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
Please continue to pray for me as well. Last week I was part of a Q/A session at an Ethiopian Youth Conference in Raleigh, NC. We had a great time and I’m encouraged by what God is doing among the Ethiopian youth here in America.
They invited me to come and serve the youth again this Sunday. I will also be speaking at a graduation ceremony for the Ethiopian community in Raleigh this Saturday.
My heart is still deeply connected to the Ethiopian community and the Lord in His perfect timing is beginning to stir my heart afresh to serve the Ethiopian youth (as well as youth in general) here in America.
Please pray for my service this weekend as well as for what this might look like moving forward. Please also continue to pray for the online Bible Study that I’m leading on Tuesday evenings. I am encouraged to see the group growing in relationship with God and with one another. The Tuesday gathering is open to all…email me if you’d like to join in sometime and I’ll send you the Zoom link.
God is stirring my heart in this season and I am excited about what lies ahead!
Thank you for your friendships and partnerships in reaching the next generation in Ethiopia, America and beyond!
Love and blessings!
Eddie
