The highlight of September for us was our annual Southeast Regional Burn summit in Falcon, NC. Coming on the heels of our (inter)national summit in late July, the regional summit provides the Burn leaders and their teams in our region to get more intimate time together, strengthening relationships and ministering to one another. Along with meals and fellowship time, Sean Feucht, the founder of Burn 24-7, and Chris Pautrat, the Mid-Atlantice Regional Director, were able to come and share at our regional summit sessions, encouraging us and praying for us. Most of our Burn directors are pioneering leaders, so having a regional Burn family provides vital encouragement to see these ministries sustained.
We connected our regional summit onto a large conference event called The Drop, which was hosted by my friend Niko Peele and Ignite Movement. 700+ students gathered at the Drop, and God move powerfully, with many students crying and trembling as The Holy Spirit encountered their hearts.
I took on the role with Burn 24-7 of Southeast Regional Director a little over two years ago, and we have seen our region explode from 3 Burn furnaces to what will soon be 12 cities burning with day & night worship & prayer from North Carolina to Florida! Even this week I have been in contact with other leaders about 2-3 additional Burns that may emerge in North Carolina soon as well! At our regional summit I shared the dream of having a Burn furnace in all 100 counties in North Carolina, as well as in all major cities in the southeast US. Join us in praying for this viral Burn movement!
We need your continued and increased support during this time. As the regional movement expands, my role increases. Please pray for us and give financially as God leads you.
What is A Burn Furnace?
Burn “furnaces” are communities that host monthly, weekly or sometimes daily sessions of unending worship, prayer and adoration that last anywhere from 6 hours up to 100 hours non-stop. Teams, representing churches across the city, take shifts to worship, pray and to contend revival in the church and transformation of cities and nations.
So excited to be leading worship one of my heroes Lou Engle at the end of the year. Plan to join us!
