Fall is here! I hope you are enjoying everything pumpkin and the cooler weather. This is our family’s favorite season of the year.

Over the last month our city, region and state have been rocked by the historic flooding of Hurricane Matthew. In the midst of this crisis, we have seen God move powerfully! One of the most amazing answers to our prayers was when Greenville Mayor Allen Thomas called the city of Greenville to unite in a noonday prayer meeting near the flooding river. Around 400 people gathered, including dozens of local church leaders that the mayor invited. Men, women, black, white, young, old…. government officials and church leaders… gathered together boldly calling on God in the name of Jesus for the sake of Greenville! The incredible unity was a major answer to years of prayers for our city.

You can watch a video of the crowd singing Amazing Grace here on Facebook and the entire prayer meeting was streamed on a local news station which you can watch here.

As I celebrated this historic prayer meeting with some friends a few days ago, they said that when they saw what God was doing that they knew this was an answer to the prayers that had gone up from the Boiler Room over the last seven years.

Mike Bickle says to measure the results of your intercession not in months or years, but in decades. Sometimes we pray for years for things before we begin to see answers, but we do rejoice that thousands of hours of prayer for unity in our city are coming to fruition. This encourages us to continue to press forward in our ministry to the Lord and our pursuit to see day & night worship & prayer raised up locally and across the southeast United States.

Thank you so much for your support,
Matthew & Shepard Lilley

We hosted an awesome 6-hour Burn in October with dozens coming to spend hours in God's presence, and about eight different local churches and ministries represented.
