February 2016 –

Our region continues to explode with worship and prayer. Raleigh, NC has officially launched a monthly Burn, and one-time Burn events are being in planned in Dunn & Mooresville, NC, with the hopes of launching more regularly in the future. In eastern North Carolina, 1-2 Burns are happening every weekend, and I am getting inquiries from Atlanta, Alabama, etc. from those wanting to start Burns and unite their cities in worship, prayer and outreach!

leaderofthemonth Developing, training and releasing leaders is a key part of our ministry. It is one thing to do ministry, but if you can raise up leaders, you multiply your fruitfullness! This month we are adding a new section to our newsletter called “Leader of the Month”. This is where we will highlight either one of our local staff or one of our regional Burn directors.

“The Boiler Room has revolutionized how I worship. I’ve learned how to truly let the Lord take over and let him sing through me and with me.” – Logan Maloney

Global - Lilley family

Locally, it has been somewhat challenging to gain momentum in the first few months of 2016. Our night with Jamie Dickson in January and our Greenville Burn Relaunch in February both had to be cancelled for winter weather. I was bummed! While this slowed down our momentum this semester, our staff have continued to stay strong in the prayer room from week-to-week, hosting 15 hours of public worship & prayer.

Whether it is monthly Burns or weekly prayer meetings, we believe Jesus is worthy of more worship and prayer than we can give Him! We are committed to seeing Jesus worshiped everywhere, by everyone, all the time!

February and March are birthday months for our family! Shepard, Ariel, Gabriel and Zion are all celebrating, along with three Boiler Room staff and a few extended family members too.
