GOOD NEWS: GOD IS MOVING AMERICA!

This reality was never more apparent that my trip to Los Angeles this past month. First of all… the Jesus Tent. The Carolina Jesus tent got set up on the original site of the Azusa Street Revival in downtown LA. Day & night worship & prayer were offered Thursday, Friday and Sunday, led with a combination of local LA teams and the 120+ that came from the Carolinas. Black, white, hispanic, asian and native american joined together to release one sound of worship to Jesus! Many were wandering off the streets into the tent, and many were going from the tent out to the streets to pray and minister. Multiple people got saved, many received physical and emotional healing as well. On Sunday, the street was closed down and lunch was provided for hundreds of the poor and homeless in the neighborhood. Drug addicts, demon possessed, the hurting and broken encountered God’s love through food, hugs, prayers, songs and the word of God. It was beautiful.

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy… Joel 2:28

On Saturday, we attended Azusa Now, where around 70,000 gathered in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for 15 hours of non-stop worship, prayer, repentance, reconciliation and ministry in the spirit of Joel 2. Despite rain throughout the day, almost everyone stayed outside all day to seek the Lord. God’s power was released! People who came in wheelchairs left walking, a mute man with a tumor in his throat was able to talk, and literally hundreds more were healed of other physical ailments and pains. It was such a witness to the hunger of this generation. I believe one of the most important things that happened was that 70,000 believers were renewed with fresh faith and hope to go back to see God change their cities. Something is stirring, and from what I understand, the event organizers took note that so many people from North Carolina made their way to the event. God is doing something special in our region that’s connected to a bigger storyline in America and the nations. We are so honored to be a part of this movement!

Also, have you heard about the awakening breaking out in high schools in West Virginia? Thousands are coming to Jesus!

PRAYER POINTS

  • Strength, love and joy for our Boiler Room family. That God will solidify and strengthen right relationships. For a culture of honor and discipleship.
  • Expansion of our Partnership Team as our ministry and family expands. I will be taking some time the next few months to meet with people to share our ministry and invite them to join our Partnership Team. Pray for divine connections and provision for our upcoming season.
  • PRAYER ANSWERED: We believe the new chancellor appointed at ECU is probably a Christian. He holds a master’s of divinity degree and has even written commentaries on Old Testament books of the Bible! We have been specifically praying and contending for a godly ECU chancellor, and I believe this could be a major answer to our prayers!
