Greetings dear friends,

I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the summer!

We have had a lot of great things going on at our partner school the last month and want to give you a quick update. Our faculty and 8th grade students were busy preparing for the 8th grade national exam which they took on 6/26. We are confident that by Gods grace and their preparation that the results will turn out well.

Our grade 12 students are now preparing for the 12th grade national exam on 7/26. This exam determines whether the students will enter university or technical school. If they reach university their exam score will be a significant factor in determining which university they will attend and what their field of study will be. This is an extremely important exam with far reaching outcomes so please keep our students in prayer as they prepare and take this exam. Last year we were at the top nationally in student scores and are believing for the same this year.

We celebrated graduations and the end of the school year on July 6 and it was a great time! Pictures below.

We have raised $7400 of the needed $15,667 to build the first of three needed classrooms to help facilitate the expansion of our high school. We are beginning construction now. We currently need $8266 to complete the first classroom or $39,600 to complete all three.  If you would like to partner with us in completing the first classroom or towards completing all three please, visit us on our website and designate the “Friends of WSE School” account.

We are excited about all that God is doing through our partner school and are thankful for your partnerships in serving the youth of Wonj-Shoa, Ethiopia!

Thanks and may the Lord bless you all!

Eddie
