UPDATE FROM EDDIE EVANS

Greetings dear friends!

I hope you’re all doing well in Gods grace!
It’s good to be back in Addis after a recent trip to Cape Town. It’s been a blessing to enjoy the beauty of Cape Town as well as to come alongside Pastor Jeth and his team at GC Church in Cape Town! Attached is a photo of Pastor Jeth and myself at Kirstenbosch Gardens.
I have partners/friends (the Chon family and their guests) visiting from the states and it’s great to have them here! They will be here for a month serving alongside our church, our partner churches and our partner school. I am always personally refreshed when they come and it always proves to be a fruitful time when they are here. Please pray for their time here. Attached is a photo of all of us taking a boat ride to see the hippos in Hawassa.
I have been meeting with our church leaders and core members and it’s exciting to see the progress that is taking place in this time. Dr  Fejiro, the new leader is doing an amazing job. It’s exciting to see the new passion, new energy and new strategies. The church is seeing new visitors each week as well as new salvations. We will be baptizing four new believers this month. I have attached a few photos of Dr. Fejiro, his wife Dr. Simret and their beautiful daughter Eliel. They are a beautiful and wonderful family and are a gift to me, to our church family and to the nation of Ethiopia.
Please keep them in your prayers.
Eman, the young man that I recently wrote you about concerning starting a delivery business, starting Bible college and serving in the church is doing well and growing leaps and bounds. He is learning a lot in Bible school and is really growing in his life and ministry. It’s exciting and encouraging to see him working alongside Dr. Fejiro and the growth that is taking place in his life. Attached is a photo of a recent lunch meeting that we had to discuss the current direction of the church.
In our meeting Dr. Fejiro asked me to share these prayer requests with you concerning this new season of the church. Please join in prayer with us to see the church continue to grow and to expand her reach in this time.
