Thank you for your faithful support and prayers as we step into a new year of ministry. This past month has been a time of prayer and reflection for Reisa and I as YWAM Kona goes through major organizational changes. We’re excited to share that we’re joining Devon—a close friend of over 10 years—along with his wife Alyssa and their three children, to help launch a church plant in Charlotte focused on racial reconciliation, university discipleship, and reaching unreached people groups through worship and prayer. We plan to commit to this church plant for at least two years, trusting God to use this season to prepare us for future missions. While continuing our work in Kona with Andy and staying connected with the FF movement, Reisa has also been sharing about the importance of worship and prayer in missions. After meaningful conversations with Devon and Andy, we’re encouraged by our shared vision and will continue serving in Kona this quarter before transitioning around the summer, even as we help train over 300 young people being sent on global outreaches.
