Greetings dear friends! I wanted to share a few updates and let you know how grateful I am for your partnership. Because of your generosity, our partner school in Wonji Shoa was able to paint several of our classroom buildings and furnish them with new desks, tables, and chairs. The school is having a wonderful year and continues to offer quality education to the youth in the area. Thank you for helping make this possible, and please continue praying for our staff and students.

At the same time, our church in Addis is facing a significant challenge—and opportunity. The owner of the building we’ve rented for many years has asked us to move out so he can convert the space into small offices. In one sense, the timing is good because we genuinely need more room and a better location. But it’s also difficult because Ethiopia is going through intense financial hardship. The currency has devalued nearly 300% in the last year, the cost of living has risen sharply, and wages have barely increased. After the devaluation, our landlord raised our rent by 175%, and this upcoming move will increase our rent again.

We have found a new place that is a perfect fit for our size and location needs. It’s still under construction but will be ready soon. We believe it’s the right place for us in this season and we’re stepping out in faith, trusting God to provide as He always has. However, this transition will be financially challenging.

We’ve also recently launched two online fellowship groups. One is for members of our Ethiopian church who now live abroad, helping us stay connected and support each other across different cultures and countries. The second is for friends here in the States and internationally who want to strengthen their faith foundations in a relational setting. I’m very excited about both of these new initiatives and ask for your prayers as we move forward.

Our church in Addis continues to thrive—our leadership team is growing, our church family is growing, prayer is happening every day, weekly outreaches are strong, and we are making disciples.

To help us cover the increased rent for our first year in the new building, we’re believing God for an additional $6,000. If you would consider giving a one-time or monthly contribution, you can do so at globalimpactresources.org and designate the 110 Ethiopian Missions Account. Please email me if you plan to contribute so I can watch for it.

Thank you again for your friendship, your prayers, and your partnership with us as we continue serving the people of Ethiopia and the nations. We love and appreciate you all!

Blessings, Eddie
