After speaking with our pastor about our transition, he shared about a new church planting program he believed would be a great fit for us. After praying together, Reisa and I felt led to join as preparation for church planting in Charlotte. The nine-month program, led by veteran church planter Drew Steadman in partnership with our local church in Kona, focuses on discipleship, accountability, and hands-on ministry through an apprenticeship model that develops spiritual life, leadership, and practical ministry skills. The training costs $1,200 for both of us, and although we will move from Kona in July, we will complete the program online. We are excited to pursue this opportunity together as our first formal training as a married couple.
