Steve and Joy Johnson
Steve and Joy have been married since June of 2016. Steve is originally from Memphis, TN and Joy is from Decatur, IL. Steve gave his life to Christ as a college student in the Summer of 2007 as a college student at Austin Peay in Clarksville, TN through a campus outreach to his college football team. His life was so radically transformed by Jesus that he began to feel called to full-time ministry. Upon graduating from college, Steve began working as a campus missionary on his local college campus. Since 2010, he has worked on various campuses throughout the Middle Tennessee region.
Steve and Joy met at one of their local church congregations and fell in love. Their hearts’ passion is to reach the lost and see people come into their full purpose in Christ. He and his wife have a passion for the next generation–especially millennials. Joy has an outreach to young women called BeWorthit. Through BeWorthIt, she serves many college-aged and young adult ladies with the Gospel to help them find their purpose and worth in Christ. Steve and Joy serve on staff at Bethel Community Church but continue their outreach in the community of Murfreesboro. They will be serving the local high schools, Middle Tennessee State University (largest university in Tennessee), doing local outreaches to millennials, and serve on various missions teams to take the Gospel to the nations.
A Message from Our President
"Throughout my experiences in traveling to other countries as a pastor, I have recognized a common trend that exists among various ministries and missionaries. This trend is one of potential opportunity to impact the nations, yet the necessary resources are not always available to seize these moments. In an effort to address this challenge, Global Impact Resources was established as a resource-gathering agent for missionaries and ministries." - Mike Williams
