Larry Yanaros, Global Impact MissionaryI gave my life to Christ in June of 1982, just after finishing college at Ohio State (engineering). I saw the faith of others (Walt & Emma) and their close relationship with Jesus, and it was beautiful and inspiring! I asked God if “we” could have this type of close relationship. God brought a mentor into my life (Omelio) to teach me, and show what a Godly man looks like. Throughout the years, God allowed me to be a part many different ministries, and witness many miracles, but mostly my passion was for teaching Bible Studies. I love to study and teach others about the wonderful things of God!

Then the company I was working for in Austin, TX asked me to go to China, to help the engineering team there. As I was walking after dinner, God spoke to me, “They are like sheep without a shepherd.” This is from Matthew 9:35-38. This scripture has this verse, and adds “The harvest is ripe, but the workers are few.” I said “yes” to God, and asked Him to send me.

For the next 5 years, God kept telling me to “Be still, and know that I am God.” So I patiently waited upon God, trusting in His timing, and His purpose for my life. Then a year ago God said to “Prepare to go.” I have been to China 8 times in the last 6 years, and now have a specific city and timing to go. On September 26, 2017, I head to China. I already have an apartment, a church to serve, and a deep love of Jesus. God is there before me and has opened many doors.

Please join me as a partner. Not all of us can go, but together we can share the Good News. 18.5% of the World lives in China, and only 6% know of the Love of Jesus. Let’s make a difference, together. God is Powerful!
