As you can see below, Friday Nights at the Boiler Room have been going great the past month! I have been leading worship or teaching most weeks, along with Nelson Radford, our Prayer Room Director, and other guests. Our community has been encountering God together, and many new visitors have come and are wanting to get involved with us as well!

In May we traveled two weeks in a row as a family. First we went to the Awaken The Dawn conference in Chesapeake, VA, where we connected with friends like Sean Feucht and David Bradshaw, as well as other amazing leaders from around the nation like Heidi Baker, Lou Engle and Allen Hood. Matthew was able to receive teaching and training at the Praying Church Leadership summit.

Secondly, we went to Ignite Dunn for four days. Ignite Dunn was 120 hours of non-stop worship, prayer and outreach in Dunn, NC. We helped mobilize worship teams from our region and personally helped fill the worship slots while we were there. There was outreach in the neighborhoods every afternoon, clothes were given away, and free lunch and dinner was provided to the community.  At least a few people were saved and baptized under the tent, a blind woman recovered her sight, and hundreds have encountered God’s presence! The local newspaper covered Ignite Dunn and I was on the front cover (see photo below)!

It was an honor to have written two articles for Covenant Church’s May edition of their New Covenant outreach magazine. I wrote a story on the Burn 24-7 movement and our family’s journey as prayer missionaries. You can read the articles online here on Covenant’s web site.

“The Boiler Room has been “a place where His glory can dwell” under the leadership of Matthew Lilley and they have both been pivotal tent pegs on my personal ministry journey. There has been a place of refuge, restoration, equipping and a consistent place of encounter over the 7 years I’ve been connected.”

(Mike is one of the nine local Burn directors I serve as the Burn 24-7 Southeast Regional Director, covering from North Carolina to Florida!)

Thank you so much for your love and support. We are praying for you weekly, but please email us and let us know how we can be praying for you more specifically.  God bless you!

Family Update
Shiloh has made it through her kindergarten year of school! Ariel will officially start elementary school this fall, although she has learned a lot from her sister already. We have decided to continue homeschooling and are joining a local co-op that will provide the girls with some group classes and interaction with other home-school families this fall!
