Dear friends,

I hope this message finds each of you doing well in the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Here are a few highlights from the past couple of months here in Ethiopia:

We are seeing a significant growth spurtin the lives of a group of youth that we have been working with for the past couple of years. Sometimes it seems like you teach, equip, and mentor for a season, and then all of a sudden you see an amazing leap forward in the persons life. Always exciting to see! Please pray for the continued development of the youth that we are serving.

We are looking forward to a good friend of mine, Pastor Angelo Williams, visiting us from Wilmington, NC. He will be arriving this Saturday and will be with us for ten days. It is always a blessing and an encouragement to have friends visit us. Please pray for for safe travels, for protection while he is here, as well as a fruitful and productive time.

We are excited about two leadership mentoring groups that we launched about six months ago. One group is made up of medical students from a local medical university and the other group is made up of 12th grade students from a local high school. The goal is to develop future leaders among high school and university students who will bring positive impact in Ethiopia, Africa and beyond. These mentoring relationships also serve as a relational bridge from which we are able to share the gospel with these students. Please pray for us to be able to serve more students and for salvations among these youth. Attached are a couple of photos of some of the students from the leadership groups. Future world changers!

The school in Wonji is doing well. The local government just donated a football (soccer) field to the school. This is a great blessing for us! We will visit the school next week and I will send pictures. We are also in the process of establishing a science laboratory for the high school students. I will send pictures after its completion.

We are almost finished with the development of our church website and I look forward to sending the link to you soon. I hope this will help you as well as others stay more connected to our work here.

If you are not currently following us on our Bethel Facebook page, please visit us here. We also recently created a page for our school in Wonji. We hope these pages will help us stay better connected.

In addition to the prayer requests listed above, please pray for:

-More salvations.
-According to Matthew 9:35-38, pray for more workers.
-An increase in financial partnerships.

Thank you for your friendships and partnerships in the gospel. We appreciate you and are praying for you! May God bless you all!
