Hi friends,
Just wanted to say a quick thank you for all who have been praying for my NC friend that I met a few weeks ago. I wanted to fill you in quickly since you have not heard from since the previous email.
Since the previous email I haven’t seen my friend yet. One day this week I happened to pass by him when I was walking somewhere with some of our DTS students and he seemed to be walking great. After a hi and a fist bump we were on our ways. I have walked past where he usually perches in the mornings several times in the last couple of weeks and each time he has been gone.
Thank you so much for sending quarters for him. He saw me wearing the t-shirt in the pic above and really wanted one and it just so happened that my friend who was selling them had one left and it was the size he requested. So cool. So each day I leave home with the t-shirt and quarters just in case I see him as I walk to Ships.
I hope to see him again soon and be able to give him the gift y’all got for him. Thank you for praying and please continue to do so. I believe that this shirt is a prayer over him and a declaration and promise that he has an inheritance that no one can take away.
I will update you when I get a chance to visit with him again. Until then, thank you for your continued prayers. Y’all are amazing!
